| Whether you are new to climbing or have been
leading 5.11 for years, these informative, skill oriented
clinics will teach you how to avoid the common mistakes of
self rescue while multi-pitch climbing. Every year, numerous
climbers are injured or killed by making mistakes that could
have been easily be avoided. Do you know what you would do if your partner was injured?
This clinic is geared for the multi-pitch and alpine climber who
desires to be self reliant while climbing. Learn how to rescue an injured
climber, how to deal with stuck ropes and many other techniques using
standard rock climbing gear. We will teach you the rope skills to get yourself
out of almost any situation.
This is a two-part indoor clinic conveniently located in the Bay Area. All the skills
can easily be learned in a comfortable indoor setting. While you can take only the level one,
we suggest taking both clinics to gain all the skills. To take level two, we highly suggest you attend a level one clinic.
Taught by CAG's own Scott Brown, an AMGA certified rock climbing
guide and About.com climbing guide.
