We conduct rock climbing courses and private climbs at locations throughout California.

Internationally certified IFMGA/UIAGM rock climbing guide and CAG owner Dave Miller is available for custom rock climbing instruction at locations throughout California. Our courses are designed to give you a high level of in-depth rock climbing instruction. Graduates of our rock climbing classes come away with an excellent understanding of climbing principles - whether a beginner or a someone learning to lead traditional rock climbs. Our rock climbing classes are taught with the belief that rock climbing training is the foundation of all alpine climbing and mountaineering skills. We keep our climbing instructor-to-guest ratios low to ensure personal attention and safety.

Rock Self-Rescue Course - 2 days
Eastern Sierra Nevada
AMGA certified rock climbing guide and IFMGA internationally certified mountain guide Dave Miller teaches this valuable course in what to do when things go wrong on a rock climb. This course covers how to get yourself out of just about any situation on a multi-pitch rock climb

Traditional Leading & Self-Rescue Course - 5 days
Sequoia National Park, Sierra Nevada West Side
A more advanced course in all aspects of multi-pitch rock climbing, traditional rock climbing leading techniques and self-rescue. This extended rock climbing course perfect for those climbers with a bit more experience who want to really fine tune their leading skills and learn proper techniques from a certified rock guide.

Big Wall and Aid Climbing - 3 days
Sierra Nevada
Learn the proper techniques in all aspects of big wall climbing and aid climbing from an internationally certified mountain guide and big wall veteran. This course is essential for those who have goals of climbing the big walls of Yosemite and elsewhere.

Technical Alpine Rock Climbing Camp
The Sawtooth Range, Sierra Nevada - 5 days
Rock Climbing on the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada. Receive technical training all the aspects of alpine style rock climbing on the high peaks. Includes a technical rock climbing route on Matterhorn Peak.
