Intro to Rock Climbing Course
Sequoia, Sierra nevada West Side -4 days

A rock climbing course for those looking for an in-depth introduction to outdoor rock climbing. Located in the beautiful Sequoia area on the West side of the Sierra Nevada this climbing course is perfect for those with no previous climbing experience or for those who want to experience the world of climbing outside of the rock gym.

This rock climbing course includes climbing instruction in all the fundamentals of rock climbing with an emphasis on traditional-style rock climbing in a fun and supportive learning environment. Learn all the basics of rock climbing from professional rock climbing guides.

  • Knots and Belaying
  • Basic Movement on Rock
  • Face & Crack Climbing
  • Rappeling
  • Intro to Anchor Building

Camping is just minutes from the crags and breakfast and dinner is included and prepared by your guide. Nights are spent relaxing around a campfire.

Taught by American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) certified and trained rock climbing guides. Rock climbing instruction will include all the rock climbing basics such as belaying, knots, rapelling, basic rock climbing anchors, and movement on face and crack climbs.

Camping is provided just minutes from the crags and breakfast and dinner is included and prepared by your guide. Nights are spent relaxing around a campfire.

Includes: All technical rock climbing equipment except rock climbing shoes is provided (shoe rental can be arranged). Breakfast & dinner and non-alcoholic beverages are included and prepared by your guide / camp chef. Four nights of camping is provided.
