| A Yosemite high country Sierra backpacking
and mountain hiking adventure to the summit of Yosemite's
highest peak - Mt. Lyell.
We leave out of spectacular Tuolumne Meadows in the Yosemite
high country and hike south through the incredible Lyell Canyon
to our base camp. The summit of Mt. Lyell takes us across the
Lyell Glacier, the largest in Yosemite.
The climb of Mt. Lyell is a very easy one, suitable for those
with basic backpacking and hiking skills. Some basic rock scambling
may be required. A great backpacking adventure for those who
seek the skills to venture away from the trails.
