| A Joshua Tree rock climbing course for those looking for
an in-depth introduction to outdoor rock climbing with an
emphasis on traditional style climbing. Perfect for those
with no previous climbing experience.
This rock climbing camp includes personalized and in-depth
instruction in all the fundamentals of rock climbing in a
fun and supportive learning environment. Learn all the basics
of rock climbing through professional rock climbing instruction
and get your feet off the ground at Joshua Tree.
Days will be spent learning and enjoying the craft of rock
climbing midst the beautiful granite formations and surreal
landscapes of Joshua Tree. If you choose the all-inclusive
option the nights will be spent relaxing around the campfire
at a Joshua Tree National Park campground enjoying fine camp
cuisine prepared by your guide and taking in the starry nights
that Joshua Tree is famous for.
Taught by American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) certified
rock climbing guides. Rock climbing instruction will include
all the rock climbing basics such as belaying, knots, rapelling,
basic rock climbing anchors, movement of face and crack climbs
plus an introduction to multi-pitch rock climbing. Of course,
there will be plenty of rock climbing on some of Joshua Tree's
best rock introductory climbs.
