Climbing the Ecuador volcanoes with a professional American
mountain guide is a perfect trip for those who just want a
taste of high altitude climbing or for those with even larger
mountains and mountaineering expeditions in mind.
We will explore the northern highlands of Ecuador while acclimating
on smaller volcanoes under 16,000 ft while staying at a beautiful
Ecuadorian hacienda resort. Then we travel to Cotopaxi for
an attempt at climbing one of the most beautiful peaks in
the world. After some rest it's on to climb Chimborazo, Ecuador's
highest mountain.We wrap it all up with a stay in the spa
resort town of Banos, on the border of the Amazon jungle.
Climbing Chimborazo and Cotopaxi requires basic ice axe and
crampon skills. Your American mountain guide will review all
the glacier skills necessary to climb these magnificent Ecuador
volcanoes.
We provide private ground transportation throughout Ecuador

and enjoyment in mind. We also build in an extra climbing
day for flexibility in case of inclement weather.
