An overnight snowshoeing adventure to Yosemite National
Park. On this two day, one night adventure, we will camp in
a comfortable winter camp in the snow, while learning the
basics of winter camping and enjoying beautiful Yosemite National
Park in the winter.
On the first day we will meet in the morning, snowshoe in
and set up our winter camp near the South Rim of Yosemite
Valley. On day two we will go for a short tour before breaking
camp and heading back to the trailhead.

- Snowshoe Technique
A winter adventure in the snow for anyone interested in the
winter backcountry or simply just to enjoy Yosemite without
the crowds. The Yosemite backcountry in the winter is spectacular.

Food: At California Alpine Guides
we strive to provide healthy and delicious gourmet backcountry
meals. Breakfast and dinner are provided by your guide / backcountry
chef while in the field. Special diets can be accommodated.
Prerequisites: No previous winter
experience required, but some previous experience in hiking
and backpacking is reccommended. Previous snowshoeing experience
is not necessary
