| An intermediate rock climbing course for those looking for an in-depth
introduction to outdoor rock climbing. Located in the beautiful
Sequoia National Park on the West side of the Sierra Nevada, this climbing
course is perfect for those with just a little previous climbing experience and for those more experienced who want to fine tune their skills in the world of climbing
outside of the rock gym and away from the sport crags.
This rock climbing course includes climbing instruction in
all the fundamentals of rock climbing with an emphasis on
traditional-style rock climbing in a fun and supportive learning
environment. Learn all the basics of rock climbing from professional
certified rock climbing guides:
- Knots and Belaying
- Face & Crack Climbing
- Multi-pitch climbing
- Rappeling
- Anchor Building
- Basics of lead climbing & self rescue
Taught by American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) certified
and trained rock climbing guides. Rock climbing instruction
will include all the rock climbing basics such as belaying,
knots, rapelling, basic rock climbing anchors, and movement
on face and crack climbs.
We have a large selection of great climbs in the area with everything from 5.4 to 5.10 climbs from 1-6 pitches.
Camping is provided just minutes from the crags and breakfast
and dinner is included and prepared by your guide. Nights
are spent relaxing and having fun around a campfire.
