An extensive in-depth introduction to rock climbing. In
eight days of rock climbing instruction at Joshua Tree we
will teach you all the fundamentals of rock climbing. An all-inclusive
rock climbing trip including fine camp cuisine, camping gear
and campgrounds within Joshua Tree and professional rock climbing
instruction from an American Mountain Guides Association
certified rock climbing guide.
For those with little or no outdoor rock climbing experience
who wish to have all the fundamentals of rock climbing in
one in-depth rock climbing course. Rock climbing instruction
includes all knots and belaying techniques, movement on rock,
crack and face climbing skills, rock climbing anchoring principles,
intro to multi-pitch rock climbing and self rescue skills
on rock climbs. Of course, there will be plenty of time for
rock climbing on some of Joshua Tree's classic rock climbs.
All the details are taken care of and all your technical rock
climbing gear is provided.
A great rock climbing course for mountaineers who wish to
improve their technical rope and rock anchoring skills as
rock climbing technical skills are the foundation for all
technical alpine climbing skills. Joshua Tree has long been
a winter rock climbing training ground for alpinists. And
for those beginner rock climbers who want a full introduction
into rock climbing to give them a safer more confident path
into this exciting sport.
We believe in keeping our rock climbing guide to guest ratios
low in order to ensure personal attention and safety and to
maximise everone's rock climbing experience.
